Midlands PR and marketing campaigns
Remember the Yellow Pages? Back in the not-so-good old days,
regional PR meant meticulously listing your products or services in
your local newspaper and making sure your classified adverts were
Thankfully, today’s regional marketing is a little more sophisticated.
At Stone Junction, we’re proud to work with businesses across the globe, but we’re especially pleased with the Midlands PR we deliver for businesses in the region.
We know the media.
When the local and regional media is on your doorstep, you get to know the ins and outs of how they operate. Stone Junction’s team has been based in the Midlands since 2012, when our managing director and proud Staffordian, Richard Stone, set up shop for PR in Staffordshire’s county town.
In that time, we’ve generated a county-load of coverage for clients in local newspapers, radio stations and broadcast media across the region. In fact, we quite often host regional editors and journalists at our office, to introduce our clients, get editorial commissioned and more general journalist schmoozing.
That said, regional PR doesn’t always mean traditional media
relations. Our team includes experts in e-mail
marketing, Google Adwords, search engine
optimisation (SEO) and marketing automation — and we know how
to implement this on regional and local level.
We’re never far away.
Working with clients in the Midlands allows us to catch up on
campaigns at the drop of a hat. By train, our team can arrive
in Birmingham in just 30 minutes and even Derby and Coventry are around
an hour drive away.
Our Stafford office is just a short drive from the M6, so if clients happen to be passing by on the motorway, we are happy to dedicate some time to discuss how the campaign is going — and as an extra bonus, we’ve always got decent biscuits in.
In all seriousness, taking the opportunity to meet with your agency in person can greatly benefit your PR efforts. As managing directors and marketing leaders, we know you’re busy so the flexibility to manage your campaign around your schedule — rather than months of trying to arrange a meeting — will always work in your favour.
We get involved.
Along with our efforts to engage with local media, Stone Junction is an active member of the Midlands PR scene. Ten members of the Stone Junction team are part of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and recently, the team has won six PR awards at the institute’s awards ceremony for the Midlands region.
What’s more, the team has two Chartered PR practitioners , including our managing director, Richard Stone. In fact, Richard has also been nominated as the Chair of the CIPR Midlands committee for 2018 — if that’s not a testament to our commitment to regional PR, we don’t know what is.
If you want to expand your regional PR horizons, we would love to invite you to Stone Junction’s office for a free initial consultation. To arrange a meeting with the team, e-mail email@example.com or call +44 (0) 1785 225416. You can even hold us to our biscuit promises.
Meet the team
Stone Junction is managed by Richard Stone, whose previous experience includes PR campaigns for Arup, AIT Plc, CIENA, Parker Hannifin, Schneider Electric, SIG, SKF, Roche and WorldCom. Well over a decade in technical and technology PR has taught him that he is only just starting out. He is a very slightly geeky father of two who lives in Stafford with his long suffering wife, aforementioned children, dog and cat.
Junction has been going from strength to strength, building up its
client base and championing the achievements of technical and
engineering firms, some of which are in Staffordshire."
