MasterMover appoints technical PR agency

International electric tug manufacturer appoints Stafford PR agency

Electric tug specialist MasterMover, based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, has appointed Stafford based international PR agency Stone Junction. The two Midlands based companies will work together to build on the existing reputation that MasterMover has worldwide.

MasterMover supplies electric tugs that can be used by a single pedestrian operator to handle loads up to 30,000kg. The company supplies a range of electric tugs to a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, hospitals, pharmaceuticals and healthcare.

The tugs enable staff to move the products safely, reducing the risk of injuries caused by manual handling and giving employees increased control over the item they are moving. The compact size of the equipment also makes them suitable for areas where space is at a premium.

MasterMover tugs are used across the world, in some of the world’s leading companies. The PR campaign will include international work to reflect this, particularly focused for MasterMover’s operations in Germany.

“From our initial meetings with Stone Junction, we identified that the company’s success with other UK engineering companies was a good fit with our vision for MasterMover,” explained Andy Owen, managing director of MasterMover. “When we discussed this further with the Stone Junction team, it was clear to see that this success expands across many continents.

“We ship products across the world on a weekly basis and regularly exhibit at trade shows all around the world, so we also needed an international aspect to our PR campaign. In fact, the first press release that we sent to the media announced that our products would be exhibited in South Korea. This was sent to media across the world, including as far as the US and Australasia,” concluded Owen.

“At Stone Junction, not only do we pride ourselves on achieving local and national coverage for our clients, we also generate international coverage on almost every continent,” said Richard Stone, managing director of Stone Junction. “With eight languages in house, companies can take advantage of our international contacts and local knowledge.

“Germany is a key market for much of the international PR work we do. The country’s thriving industry is reflected in its expansive media landscape, so it’s no surprise that companies like MasterMover want to expand their reach there.”
