Marketing advice for Staffordshire businesses

Marketing professionals from Staffordshire will be collaborating on Friday 2, 2017 for a Marketing Day hosted by the Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held at the North Staffordshire office, Commerce House in Stoke-on-Trent. Attendees are encouraged to register their attendance in advance on the Staffordshire Chambers website.

Beginning at 8am, the Marketing Day will host three keynote speakers from media organisations in the country. Following these speeches and an opportunity for networking, the event will close at 10.30am. Registration is free of charge and a free business diagnostic will be available on the day for attendees to determine areas for potential funding.  The event welcomes both existing members of the Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce and potential members.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from local experienced professionals about how to use media to promote and market their business.  Richard Stone, managing director of Stafford-based PR consultancy, Stone Junction, will be providing attendees with a speech on the benefits of digital PR and social media when marketing your business. Alongside Stone, keynote speeches include tips on delivering successful radio advertising, which will be presented by a representative at Signal Radio and an advice session on best practice for newspaper, magazine and billboard advertising.

“As a technical PR agency, Stone Junction’s client base includes companies from the advanced engineering, IT and technology fields. Naturally, these clients expect campaigns that include both traditional media relations and more complex digital tactics,” explained Richard Stone, managing director of Stone Junction, “As a result, our planning has evolved to encompass a more integrated approach to communications, ensuring that our clients achieve traction in their market – both digitally and in print – to drive sales and lead opinion.

“In today’s competitive environment, the potential of digital communications and online PR cannot be ignored. At the Staffordshire Chambers Marketing Day, I will be advising businesses on how to integrate digital PR into their marketing efforts, regardless of the size of their company.”

Stone Junction is a technical PR agency based in Stafford.
