Midlands PR firm bolsters international expertise

New recruit for chemical engineering PR agency

Technical PR agency Stone Junction employs language graduate

Technical and chemical engineering PR firm Stone Junction has expanded its international reach with the appointment of Jennifer Barnes as an account executive. Jennifer has recently completed a degree in modern languages and her language skills and European knowledge will support the company’s growing international PR activity.

This latest appointment will  expand the reach of Stone Junction and its clients across the global marketplace. Jennifer recently graduated from Lancaster University after studying French, German and Spanish. This in-depth language knowledge, as well as the fact she has lived in both France and Germany, will be of particular benefit for existing or potential clients targeting or looking to expand into European sectors.

“Our work has an increasingly global outlook, with over 50 percent of our existing client campaigns involving an international element," explained Richard Stone, managing director of Stone Junction. "Jennifer’s appointment adds to our already internationally experienced team, boosting both our language and cultural knowledge base. This means that we are more able than ever to help our clients to develop overseas and achieve their growth and sales objectives.

“Throughout my degree, I’ve always enjoyed communicating with others and developing my language skills,” Jennifer said. “This new role will give me the opportunity to put those skills into practice to help both Stone Junction and its clients grow. I’m looking forward to learning more about the world of public relations and contributing my language skills to the team.”

Stone Junction’s multilingual team helps companies to transcend borders and reach new markets. No matter the size of the company, the firm’s experts put their extensive local knowledge and language abilities to use in order to build brand reputation in any target region.
