A new base for PR consultancy
PR agency relocates to larger office in Stafford ~
As a result of
recent business growth, Stafford based
PR agency Stone Junction
has relocated to a larger office in Stafford town centre. Until
recently, the agency was based at the Business Innovation Centre on
Staffordshire Technology Park, but outgrew its original office and
needed a bigger space for its expanding team of eight. The company is
now based in a two-storey office in the shadow of Stafford's historic
St Mary's Church.
Stone Junction has doubled in size over the past year, taking on four new members of staff in less than 12 months. The technology PR specialist has also won business from global chemical giant NCH Europe and FTSE listed manufacturer Renishaw. The company has also completed projects for technology start-ups bITjAM and WaveMaker.
Stone Junction has made the most of its new space, filling it with customised prints, new furniture and a chill-out room complete with table football and retro games for the team to enjoy.
"The new office reflects Stone Junction's company culture better than our previous office space," explains managing director of Stone Junction, Richard Stone. "Everyone had an input in the office decor and each person was asked to choose a few of their favourite pictures, which are now framed and displayed in our meeting room. Staff satisfaction has always been important to me and I think having a team that look forward to coming to work has a hugely positive impact on the business."
"The new office provides the team with more space to relax and interact outside working conditions," explains account executive, Jessica Phillips. "The office has a library, filled with business and fictional books for the team to read and a writing room for anyone to use if they need a quiet space to research or work on a project."
Stone Junction has recently been shortlisted in the Marketing Initiative of the Year category in the Electrical Industry Awards and in three categories at this year’s CIPR (Chartered Institute of PR) PRide awards, including Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy and Best Use of Digital. The PR agency provides its clients with a range of PR services including written content, SEO, social media and award entries.

Meet the team
Stone Junction is managed by Richard Stone, whose previous experience includes PR campaigns for Arup, AIT Plc, CIENA, Parker Hannifin, Schneider Electric, SIG, SKF, Roche and WorldCom. Well over a decade in technical and technology PR has taught him that he is only just starting out. He is a very slightly geeky father of two who lives in Stafford with his long suffering wife, aforementioned children, dog and cat.
Junction has been going from strength to strength, building up its
client base and championing the achievements of technical and
engineering firms, some of which are in Staffordshire."
